So after working in both Islamic school and public school, I don't think Islamic school is any better sadly :( so much room for improvement InshaAllah.

I agree with muslimah, both of my kids went to public school, and alhamdulilah they turned out fine. parents just need to spy on them all the time

i think you need to do a combination of homeschooling/public schooling :) one option doesn't work, there's so many Muslim kids out there who have done one track and they end up MESSED UP.
plus most of the responsibility is on the parents, putting your kids in Islamic school doesn't guarantee good kids and putting them in public school doesn't mean they'll be evil.

Public School FTW. If you ask most of the American born Muslim imams and scholars, all most all of them went to Publish school

theres this article in sisters magazine and it talks about these converts putting their children in Islamic school and aside from the curriculum the issue of fiqh and madhab comes into play too
