About
Shoutreel is a one-stop-shop where users can communicate in many groups. It has reinvented old school groups with the concept of reels. Reels are lightweight spaces where users can quickly and easily share thoughts on anything. Reels offer features such as instant video recording, photo capture, embeddable widgets, ability to connect reels, and much more! Whether it's the latest video game, favorite sports team, a book series, auto enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, political junkies or anything else; Shoutreel has a reel just for you! If it so happens that you are interested in hiking on Mount Fuji and there's no reel for it, then you can create one!

Shoutreel allows anyone and everyone to post absolutely anything! You can jump on to ask a quick question, post a comment, a thought, have discussions in other reels, or start your own reel and have fun with your friends.

The possibilities are endless! Welcome to the world of Shoutreel!

Founders
Shoutreel was founded by 3 guys who were tired of the painful experience of online communication. They decided to take this energy and solve this problem, and hopefully create the next big thing on the internets, Shoutreel!

They work on Shoutreel in any free time they have while balancing their day jobs, spending time with their family, being active in their communities and hobbies.

The founders are pictured below from right to left: Ammar Yousuf, Amir Sahib and Farooq Yousuf.

Advisors

Alexis Ohanian

After graduating from the University of Virginia in June 2005, Alexis Ohanian started reddit.com with Steve Huffman. In October of 2006, their company was acquired by Condé Nast, where he is now a product manager. Along with managing product, he also doodles the reddit mascot. A “social” news website, reddit lets readers – not editors – decide what goes on the front page by simply voting content up or down. The model has proved popular thus far, as over four million people visit reddit a month.
